Honorable Character awarded grant from Amon G. Carter Foundation

May 2, 2011—Fort Worth, TX—The Amon G. Carter Foundation awarded Honorable Character with a grant during its February 2011 foundation board meeting.

John Robinson, Executive Vice President of the foundation, stated, “The Carter Foundation appreciates and values your efforts to encourage positive character development.  We commend your success in developing and marketing the Honorable Character Classroom Management System.  We are pleased to provide these funds to assist in creating a training video to accompany the program for schools unable to afford on-site training … Use [these funds] for the training video and/or expanding the program into more Fort Worth ISD [schools].”

The foundation supports work in the fields of art and culture, civic and public affairs, education, health, and human services.

“Honorable Character expresses its heartfelt appreciation to the Amon G. Carter Foundation for its generous award,” stated Christina Martin, Honorable Character’s Chief Operations Officer.  “This grant will enable us to have a greater impact on the lives of our young people and equip the adults who work with them."
